WA ACCA’s governing body approved this opportunity to support the association’s advocacy and strengthen the political voice of its members. WA ACCA is a voluntary, nonprofit, unincorporated association that is independent of and unaffiliated with any political party or candidate.

Our advocacy extends beyond the Legislature, where we have repeatedly opposed regulations that would place unnecessary burdens on the HVACR industry. We also monitor the State Building Code Council, where we have opposed mandatory duct sealing requirements and advocated for practical energy efficiency solutions that work for our customers. At the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, we have pushed back against efforts by monopoly utilities to enter the competitive HVAC market.
